Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, Remembered This date reminds me that apparently, I was destined for the journey with the Marine Corps. A hazardous journey, fortunately with a victory, though costly. If necessary, I would do it again. We had many babies born in 1941, plus or minus several years, to protect, including my two baby nieces. Hard to believe I once looked like a typical Marine. Not me in this picture. All of us looked like that. Cameras were scarce in that era.
