Dr. James R. Rehak, survived by wife Joann Marie and daughter Suzanne Therese, whom he so much loved and adored, went to the heavenly light on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He was born in Chicago Illinois, attained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery “Cum Laude” of Orthodontics, and was a Professor of University of Illinois with practices of Orthodontics in Chicago and Naples. Past President and Trustee of St. John Neumann High School, St Ann Catholic School and the Catholic Cultural Center in Washington D.C. He loved life and served his country well as a First Lieutenant in the Army. We remember a loving father, devoted husband and a constant pillar to the Naples community of which he brought smiles of love, hope, happiness and peace. His deepened love for people that he gladly and generously gave to those that needed his warmth, sincere heart and gentleness will be missed by his family, patients, friends and generations of Neapolitans. Jim, you will be admired, missed, and thought of for being the most faithful of God’s children and grace. You have led all of us in the right direction and of what paths to take in our lives. A person with the right virtues will be successful in every form. We will feel your presence upon us with every smile that there is, knowing there is so much to look forward to. Your beautiful soul, mind and spirit will shine along the path and we will always know you will be with us on our journey of life. Dad, you always said “You and your mom are my whole life. I love what I do and treated my patients and friends as family.” My response, “YOU ARE UNFORGETTABLE!” A memorial Mass and celebration of life will be held at Saint William Catholic Church, 750 Seagate Drive, Naples on Wednesday, February 2nd at 5:30 p.m. Rev. Robert Tabbert officiating. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Faith Appeal, c/o Blessed Pope John 23, 13060 Palimino Lane, Ft. Myers, FL where Dr. Rehak’s brother-in-law, Rev. Robert Tabbert, serves as pastor.
